Some of what you will do:
- Partner with the product team in the product discovery process. Advocate for our customers by understanding their needs, nuances, and root causes of their problems.
- Work with UX research and analytics teams to inform decision-making and identify emerging issues and trends.
- Guide the end-to-end iterative design process and use design research, job stories, journey mapping, content modelling to achieve human-centred design solutions
- Provide advice and guidance on design rationale, user experience perspective, and user-centred design practices.
- Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the design and delivery of design deliverables and creative assets
- Supports the development and creates design consistency
Senior Product Designer is given specific/scoped problem statements and is expected to deliver the solution and generates proposed solutions and plan to drive execution. Senior Product Designer helps to manage and influence cross-functional peers.
- Delivers results toward business KPIs and OKRs (objectives and key results) when executing against an initiative.
- Formulates multiple solutions to a given problem and recommends an effective course of action, validating the approach with their manager.
- Conveys ideas and insights in a clear and concise manner, breaking down complex findings into concise and digestible concepts.
- Independently leverages a determined, MVP approach when appropriate, while keeping in mind foundational needs and scalability.
- Identifies issues within scope of work, efficiently troubleshoots root cause, takes corrective action, and escalates as appropriate.
- Asks questions and identifies additional needs, analytical or other, beyond initial assignment.
- Requires a college or university degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.
- A hands-on designer that is proficient in user research techniques, interaction design, visual design, and usability testing.
- Data-driven and use quantitative as well as qualitative data sources to inform your design decisions.
- Have an understanding in Lean and Agile practices.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, for example as a Product Designer, UX Designer, etc.
