YOUR IMPACT

The Senior Program Manager provides functional support to the VP of Internal Audit in the Finance organization. This includes coordination and project management tasks specific to the Internal Audit teams as well as preparing key presentations and reports.

This individual thrives in a fast-paced ever-changing environment and is always one step ahead and must demonstrate the ability to adapt and anticipate the needs of Senior Leadership with a high level of professionalism, maturity, and positive attitude. The ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing and competing priorities is a must.

What The Role Offers

  • Establish and serve as critical PMO support to the VP for IA for project and task management/tracking and key deliverables
  • Proactively create and maintain effective communication to accomplish the work of the executive which includes the handling of a variety of projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Serve as administrator to internal working tools like Audit Board
  • Track position requisitions, progress, position codes, headcount to maintain an ongoing workforce plan
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new hires and offboarding of external service provider staff in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining Opentext policy and confidentiality expectations
  • Create and modify Internal Audit reports, letters and presentations using the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project (or equivalent) and utilization of Power BI
  • Co-ordinate the payment of invoices and reconciliation of contractual expenses monthly
  • Maintain confidential records and information
  • Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives
  • Attend key leadership meetings and document minutes and action items thereof
  • Organize special events and meetings and make necessary related arrangements, when required
  • Assist with other projects/initiatives/duties as assigned

What You Need To Succeed

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience, preferably providing support to Senior Finance Leaders and their teams. Experience working with a large-sized public accounting firm is an asset
  • Post-Secondary education in a business or project management related discipline
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power Point; Exposure to other software such as Microsoft Project and Power BI is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Concur (SAP) and Audit Board is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-pasted team environment
  • Mature approach, with an ability to exercise sound judgement in responding to inquiries and solving problems; Individual must be highly proactive and flexible.
  • Works well both independently and as a team member
