Senior Site Installation / Fabrication Position
About Dion Custom Metal Fabrication & Design
When Dion was incorporated in 2002, we began by fabricating bike parts for Easton Sports USA, which evolved into building custom road and triathlon bikes. We established strong relationships with members of Tri BC and the Canadian Tri Association, and sponsored Olympic riders Carol Montgomery (Sydney, 2000) and Brent McMahon (Athens, 2004). With the success of our bikes, we expanded our fabrication services to work with organizations focusing on handicapped individuals and athletes. These included GF Strong, PDC Mobility and the BC Wheelchair Rugby Association.
As time went on, we realized Dion Custom Metals’ skills and capabilities could go beyond the narrow fields of bikes and mobility. We could create almost anything a client could imagine.
Today, we work with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum for architectural, light structural and miscellaneous metal applications. This means that we could be building custom fixtures for a new high-rise downtown, decorative art frames for hotel lobbies, and metal detailing for a gallery in Whistler all in the same week.
Dion Custom Metal prides itself on excellent work and strong client relations. Working with 3 of the top 5 largest construction companies in Vancouver, as well as 15% of the membership of the Greater Vancouver Regional Construction Association, we’ve built a reputation as a quality supplier for metal work, and will uphold that reputation for many years to come.
