Your Role And Responsibilities
While you won’t execute every task alone, you will own the outcomes and be accountable for ensuring successful execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Client Advocacy
- Lead engagements with stakeholders and end-users to identify pain-points, automation opportunities, and adoption drivers.
- Champion customer needs internally to align cross-functional teams.
- Translate complex user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into well-defined requirements. Communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analyze, understand, and align on key technical factors such as volume, latency, data sources as well as quality and accuracy benchmarks.
- Develop and iterate on solution mock-ups, gathering user feedback to refine features and maximize impact to ensure adoption.
- Ensure solution effectively address user needs and integrate seamlessly into their workflows.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment across engineering, design, and client teams in an agile environment.
- Proactively remove roadblocks and ensure teams stay accountable for delivering.
- Take full ownership of the end to end solution including adoption.
- Lead the prioritization of the roadmap to maximize impact while ensuring velocity and security.
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management, consulting, business analyst roles or a related field
- Proven track record of delivering solutions/products from 0 to 1 and successfully scaling them from 1 to 10
- Expertise in advocating for clients, effectively translating their needs into requirements
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams (design, engineering) to deliver impactful solutions
- Strong project management skills, with proficiency in tools like Jira, Git, Aha, or Monday.com
- Data-driven analytical thinking, with the ability to back decisions and statements with facts and examples
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to tailor content for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams across different time zones and leading remote collaboration efforts
- Ability to excel in ambiguity
- Background in AI/ML with experience applying techniques in real-world scenarios
- Understanding of the Watsonx product portfolio and its applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure, including their architecture and services
- Proficient in agile software development practices, with experience driving agile teams
- Proficiency in Enterprise Design Thinking methodologies to drive user-centered innovation
- Consulting experience, with a track record of building solutions to meet client needs
- Startup experience, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in in User Experience Research (UXR) and User Experience Design (UXD)
- Proficiency in with Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data-driven decision-making and insights
