This is a Hybrid position with the expectation to be in the office 3 days a week. During onboarding and training - the requirement will be 5 days in the office.

About the Role

The Service Desk Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth IT operations across Cogir locations in North America. This position is ideal for a problem-solving professional who enjoys troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while providing top-tier support to employees. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, while also taking the initiative to tackle challenges creatively and effectively

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution for server, workstation, peripheral and network issues.
  • Offer remote IT support and coordinate with third-party service providers when needed.
  • Maintain end-user productivity by ensuring proactive IT asset maintenance.
  • Collaborate with various external partner to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and resourcefulness, capable of identifying issues and developing solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software.
  • Document all IT support activities and resolutions.
  • Assess needs at various locations and recommend IT solutions for improved efficiency.
  • Support IT service rollouts and ensure project targets are met.
  • Uphold and embody Cogir’s values—focusing on people, fostering creativity, and striving for excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: College diploma or university degree in a relevant IT field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years IT support in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune and
  • Understanding of networking principles (IP addressing, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN , Wi-Fi)
  • Experience using ITIL-compliant ITSM tools (e.g., Zendesk, SysAid, ServiceNow, ManageEngine).
  • Working knowledge of IT general controls and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Certifications: ITIL certification and other technology certifications are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—ability to translate tech solutions into user-friendly terms.
  • English proficiency is essential for this role and Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
