Essential Duties And Responsibilities

GENERAL FUNCTION

Uses forklift to unload incoming materials from trailers.

Specific Responsibilities

• Unload items from trailers. Check quantities and item descriptions against purchasing
  
  

order. Enter receivers into computer

• Place items in stock area. Place inventory tags on items as needed.
• Give all paperwork to Purchaser at end of shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
  
  

Functional/Technical Competencies

Strong eye, hand coordination

Attention to detail a must.

Ability to sort components in an efficient, fast-paced and accurate manner

Experience/Education

• Previous experience in an industrial setting required
• Production line experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Basic Math skills are required
• Previous sewing machine experience in an industrial setting
  
  

Job Factors/Work Environments

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, repetitively, in a safe manner This job requires operator to stand and walk.
