Superintendent – Wood-Frame Multi-Family Construction | Sechelt, BC

A project in Sechelt, BC, requires an experienced Superintendent with expertise in Wood-Frame Multi-Family construction. The role offers competitive compensation, relocation support to Vancouver Island, and an above-market benefits package.

Compensation And Benefits

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000, based on experience
$1,800 monthly Living Out Allowance
$10,000 relocation fee

Travel to and from Vancouver Island on weekends covered

Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met
Manage subtrades and suppliers, resolving issues as they arise
Work with the project management team to align budget and schedule
Maintain client and stakeholder relationships, working with architects and consultants
Use Microsoft and web-based tools for project documentation, including reports, schedules, and expense tracking
Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations and enforce site safety protocols

Qualifications

Experience as a Superintendent managing Wood-Frame Multi-Family projects from start to finish
Full-time work eligibility in Canada
Strong understanding of construction practices, drawings, and specifications
Knowledge of BC safety regulations and experience enforcing them on-site
Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
Experience with project management software is an asset
