Software Engineer Senior

Job Summary

Our client in Kanata, ON is looking for a Software Engineer Senior. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do

As a Software Developer, the candidate will be involved in full lifecycle of Software Development on the next generation infotainment system. Developers will be responsible for bringing to life new customer-centric features that that allows the user to interact with their vehicle such as Climate, Seats, Lighting, Cameras, Towing Assistance and more.

Basics

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar scientific field of study.
  • Experience with developing Android UI.
  • Excellent knowledge on Android architecture components.
  • Good understanding of Java language.
  • Good understanding of AOSP.
  • Knowledge of GitHUB.
  • Knowledge of Linux.
  • Willing to relocate to Ottawa.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development on Embedded Android AOSP for automotive, embedded.
  • 1+ year(s) experience with developing software leveraging Agile concepts such as SCRUM, SAFe, Kanban, etc.
  • Position fully onsite.
