What You’ll Be Doing

Working as part of the Enterprise Physical Security team, this role supports all of Corporate Security. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for creating, implementing and managing Corporate Security training, education, awareness and security-related communications for internal clients, as well as external upon request. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with key business and technology partners, creating and delivering presentations and communications on behalf of Corporate Security, creating and maintaining internal web and social media content, organizing and running campaigns and events, as well as other duties as required.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Program Management - Prioritize deliverables and manage multiple and concurrent projects. Understand the interdependencies among deliverables, timelines and stakeholders. Construct partnerships within and outside the organization.
  • Operational Support - Provide the employee base with proactive Corporate Security education, as well as timely and accurate responses to common Corporate Security questions, via channels such as email, our internal social media and intranet sites and in-person. Lead the enterprise awareness, education and communications relating to security for CIBC Square. Act as the single point of contact for safety & security training pertaining to CIBC’s Retail banking network. Knowledge of or experience in Retail Banking will be considered an asset.
  • Awareness and Education Content Development - Develop and present security awareness content relating to the various areas Corporate Security to enable employee understanding of how to be security-resilient. Support additional security awareness initiatives in consultation with other lines of business (e.g. Cyber Security). Develop and contribute to Corporate Security communications materials and provide subject matter expertise on day-to-day security inquiries.
  • Communication and Process Improvement - Stay abreast of both internal and external security trends in order to contribute and provide recommendations to improve security policies, standards and requirements documents, as well as to communicate the threat landscape and the role our security programs play. Strive for thought leadership on advancing the education and awareness program for the enterprise through collaboration with other teams and subsidiary groups.

Prior to starting in this role, security checks, including a criminal record check must be successfully completed to the satisfaction of CIBC. An annual criminal record check may also be required.
