Sr. Project Manager - Endoscopy - #195295

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Project Manager to work on the procurement and implementation of a new provincial software to replace the existing Endoscopy instances with a provincial instance. Replacement of end of end-of-life and unsupported endoscopy software and expansion to sites that are not using an application for endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the full lifecycle of the provincial endoscopy system replacement project, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, budgets, risk logs, and resource plans aligned with provincial healthcare priorities
• Engage and coordinate with clinical teams (e.g., endoscopy units), IT specialists, health authority representatives, vendors, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
• Manage procurement activities, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations to ensure delivery of a cost-effective and scalable solution
• Oversee design, configuration, integration, testing, data migration, and implementation of the new provincial system across multiple clinical sites
• Proactively identify and address project risks, issues, and interdependencies, escalating where appropriate to maintain momentum and minimize disruption
• Ensure robust change management, training, and user adoption strategies are developed and implemented across diverse clinical and administrative environments
• Track and report project progress, risks, and financials to senior leadership, supporting transparency and strategic decision-making
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, including integration with existing systems such as electronic health records, patient portals, and reporting platforms
• Ensure adherence to healthcare privacy, data security, clinical safety, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of progressive experience in project or program management, including leadership of large-scale clinical system implementations in healthcare settings
• 3+ years of experience managing projects involving diagnostic imaging, procedural documentation, or specialty clinical systems (e.g., endoscopy or perioperative platforms)
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale healthcare IT projects with multiple stakeholders across public health organizations, ministries, and clinical sites
• Strong understanding of end-to-end clinical workflows, particularly around procedural care, patient documentation, and provider collaboration
• Experience overseeing system replacement and modernization efforts, including legacy system retirement, change management, and clinical data migration
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in complex, multi-site environments with tight timelines and evolving clinical requirements
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with experience engaging executive leadership, clinical users, and vendor partners
• PMP certification or equivalent formal project management training preferred
