Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Staffing Clerks. There are a variety of positions available including permanent and temporary full-time positions. Reporting to the Coordinator, Staffing Services or designate, the incumbent works closely with unit managers to provide a high level of staffing services to meet both short and long term staff scheduling needs. Using a computerized scheduling system, the clerk performs related staffing functions following standard staffing guidelines.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work:
Hours of work will vary by positions available and can include:
Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00, or other schedules based on the position. Details about hours of work and schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12.
  • Three (3) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to type at 40 wpm.
