Jardeg is recruiting Structural Ironworker Journeypersons to join the Heartland Constructors maintenance team for a project at SUNCOR Firebag site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Shift Rotation is 6 days on 1 day off, 12 hours/day from September 9 until October 5, 2026. Camp accommodations and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) provided by the company.

- Some of the required safety tickets costs will be covered.**
- They erect structural steel components, install conveyors and robotic equipment, and sometimes perform reconstructive work on existing structures.
- Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures
- Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.

- Valid Full Class 5 Driver’s License-No restrictions
- 3 year drivers abstract
- Structural Ironworker Journeyperson Ticket or Apprenticeship card (must be in good standing)
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
