Investly is a rapidly growing business, helping young investors by proving a mobile experience to help invest, set goals, and learn. Investly’s target demographic includes the student population, making this new distribution channel for Fidelity a new and exciting opportunity.

How You’ll Make An Impact

The primary role of the student in Investly Software Development is to provide support for Investly by contributing to a number of strategic initiatives over the term.

You will have the opportunity to

• Help contribute to software development efforts on the Investly application (mobile, frontend and backend)
• Coordinate with data stakeholders to develop data pipelines
• Build and maintain automated test
• Contribute to software design and architecture
• Learn how Investly’s software development life cycle works
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• You are working towards a university degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)
• You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinking
• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript (preferred)
• Experience with version control software such as Git (preferred)
• You must be currently enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this position
• You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term
