Swamper (Flushbys & Combo Units)

Xtreme Oilfield is looking for hardworking, safety-conscious Swampers to join their team in Wabasca. In this role, you’ll support operators in the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure equipment and vacuum units. This position is suited for individuals who are comfortable working in demanding conditions, don’t mind getting their hands dirty, and take pride in a strong work ethic and a job well done.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with hazard assessments and site setup before work begins.
  • Assist operators with the setup and teardown of Combo Vac Units and Flushbys.
  • Rig in/out hoses, fittings, and cleaning tools.
  • Act as a spotter and monitor gauges/tank levels during operations.
  • Support spill prevention/cleanup and follow safety procedures.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance/cleaning.
  • Assist with pre-trip/post-trip inspections.

Requirements:

  • Valid safety tickets (CSO, CSTS, H2S Alive, First Aid, etc.)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Ability to work long hours in physically demanding conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather
  • Comfortable around high-pressure equipment and hazardous materials
  • Oilfield or vac truck experience (asset)
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
  • Commitment to 14/7 rotation and reliability
