Position: Teacher

Contract Type: 1.00 FTE; Probationary

Duration of Position: 2026/2027 School Year

Assignment: Div I Kindergarten Classroom Teacher

Location: and Brooks, Alberta

This unique position is a shared program between Eastbrook Elementary and Griffin Park School. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to run their kindergarten program 2 days a week at Eastbrook and 2 days a week at Griffin Park School. Fridays give the teacher the opportunity for professional learning and collaboration across the division with other Kindergarten teachers or for an additional morning of programming with one of the kindergarten groups.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education Degree from an accredited University
• Alberta Teaching Certificate

Successful candidates will be required to submit, prior to their start date

• Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Griffin Park School is a Pre-Kindergarten, Early English Language Learner and Kindergarten - Grade 6 school in Brooks, Alberta. We have a school population of approx. 320 students enrolled. Our mission as a school community is to challenge all of our students to reach their academic potential.
