We currently have a Full-Time Team Lead position open at our Windsor location.

The Team Lead will assist the Store Manager with overseeing the daily store operations, achieving sales targets, ensuring compliance with company policies and supports the development of team members.

How You Will Have Influence

  • Demontrate a customer-centric leadership by delivering service excellence to internal and external customers.
  • Deliver legendary service by resolving customer inquiries according to Work Authority’s Values.
  • Comply with to all cash procedures; accurately processing of sales, returns, exchanges, through a POS system, including opening or closing procedures.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate team members to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead the on-going training in upselling of products and services.
  • Assist the store manager by setting the target and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
  • Provides input to the store manager on team members performance.
  • Assists the store manager with receiving of merchandize accurately, inventory management, and cycle counts. Ensuring shrink control within the store is minimized.
  • Work closely with the store manager to ensure inventory levels, and style selections are properly maintained to maximize sales.
  • Adhere to the organization’s policies and procedures, including store operations and loss prevention guidelines and practices.
  • Ensures the execution and maintenance of visual guidelines and stores appearance meets Work Authority’s standards.
  • Assists the store manager with staffing schedule, monitoring attendance to ensure maximum coverage and partnering with the store manager address shortfalls.
  • Perform store management responsiblites in the absence of store manager.

Skills For Success

  • Minimum of 2 years retail experience, preferrable at a supervisory level
  • Enthusiastic and committed to delivering outstanding customer service experience with professionalism.
  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritize task to meet demands of the business
  • Ready to lead by empowering, inspiring, motivating, and developing self and others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using a point-of sale (POS) systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and other retail software
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders safely to access elevated areas as needed, and the flexibility to stand for prolonged durations, bend and move with ease to complete job tasks.
  • Candidates should be reliable and flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and weekdays.
