Plasman Windsor 3, 635 Sprucewood, Windsor, ON is currently seeking a new member to join our TECHNICAL team as a:

TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR

This role is pivotal in overseeing the technical operations within our manufacturing environment. The Technical Supervisor ensures optimal performance of production processes, fosters team development, and promotes adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support technical staff, ensuring all team members are fully trained and compliant with safety protocols.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and technical solutions.
• Analyze production metrics to identify areas for enhancement and troubleshoot operational issues. Ensure proper set up of teams across all shifts are scheduled to meet production requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process standards and safety guidelines.
• Lead daily operational meetings to review performance, goals, and project milestones. Support the team in daily activity including mold tryouts and engineering changes through product life cycles.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For:

• Post secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field is preferred; a combination of education, training and years of working experience in a similar capacity, will be considered.
• Minimum 8-10 years in process control and troubleshooting - specific to the injection mold / plastics industry.
• +5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools, with a strong understanding of production processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
