St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full-time Grade 3 teaching position at St. Anthony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. This position will begin September 16, 2026 or sooner as this is a maternity leave and end June 30,2027.
Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset.
St. Anthony School serves approximately 470 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 in a Christ-centered environment and offers a wide-variety of extra-curricular activities.
With Christ as its foundation, the St. Anthony School community is dedicated to sharing its faith through learning and service.
The Town of Drayton Valley is located 90 minutes southwest of Edmonton, Alberta, three hours northwest of Calgary and 70 minutes from the Edmonton International Airport.
Situated overlooking the North Saskatchewan River, the town offers a wonderful array of outdoor and indoor recreational activities. The town has a diversified economy including oil and gas, forestry, agriculture/ranching, environmental industries as well as trucking and construction.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their resume along with two reference letters. A pastoral reference, although not required, would be considered an asset. Successful applicants will be required to submit a current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check inclusive of a vulnerable sector check and a current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within 6 months).
