Temporary Full-Time Pre-School/Librarian - 0.85 FTE - #229014

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a Full-Time Preschool Aide/Librarian at St.Augustine in Ponoka, Alberta, beginning August 26, 2026. St.Augustine is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to fill a temporary Pre-School/Librarian position. This position will replace an employee on leave for an anticipated 6-8 weeks period.

The successful candidate will assist in our Preschool program during the mornings alongside an experienced Pre-school instructor and serve as the Primary Librarian in the afternoons. Preference will be given to the successful candidate with a Level 1 or 2 or higher certification including completion of a one-year Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) certificate from an approved post-secondary institution.

Employment is conditional upon the submission of a recent (within six months) Criminal Record Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Check, as well as a recent (within 6 months)Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check. Please note: Catholicity is not a requirement it is considered an asset.
