You will be involved in overseeing the inspection team and conducting routine quality audits. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in automotive damage identification and staff training. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Vehicle Inspector.
You Are
- Detail-Oriented. You possess a high level of accuracy required for obtaining assessments and writing detailed reports.
- A Self-Starter. You can assess work volumes and ensure the timely completion of prioritized tasks with minimum supervision.
- Logistically Minded. You have proven organizational skills and a strong work ethic to meet team goals.
- Complete thorough vehicle inspections by obtaining accurate assessments and taking detailed photographs for reports and Live/Dealer Blocks.
- Provide training, coordination, and oversight to Vehicle Inspectors, ensuring inspection quality through routine audits and manufacturer update monitoring.
- Act as an intermediary between Vehicle Inspectors and internal customer representatives to communicate results and facilitate necessary adjustments.
- 2+ Years of experience as a Vehicle Inspector.
- High School diploma or equivalent education/experience.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license and the ability to drive both standard and automatic transmissions.
- The willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency with using a smart phone and computers
- One year of experience in a body shop or mechanical environment.
- Experience or proficiency with AMS (Auction Management System)
