Position Overview
Erikson Pro, one of the largest and most profitable divisions within Jam Industries, seeks a dynamic and visionary Vice President (VP) to lead its next chapter of growth and operational excellence.
This critical executive role combines full P&L ownership, supplier and client relationship management, team leadership, and strategic business development, with a particular emphasis on entertainment lighting (including key brand Chauvet Lighting). The VP will lead all aspects of the division’s operations, ensuring Erikson Pro remains a market leader while navigating succession planning, supplier transitions, and expanding competitive pressures.

The VP will lead all aspects of the division’s operations, ensuring Erikson Pro remains a market leader while navigating succession planning, supplier transitions, and expanding competitive pressures.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic plan aligned with Jam Industries’ strategy.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities across entertainment, architectural, and pro-AV sectors.
- Lead digital transformation and operational optimization efforts across the division.
- Expand product and service offerings to maintain leadership in a highly competitive market.
- Full P&L ownership: Drive profitability, control operating expenses, and ensure top- and bottom-line growth.
- Manage complex supplier relationships to protect and expand critical business partnerships.
- Maintain best-in-class operational standards for customer experience, fulfillment, and technical excellence.
- Implement scalable processes, KPIs, and performance tracking to ensure division health and growth.
- Direct sales strategy, including setting targets, defining channel strategies, and leading key account relationships.
- Act as a senior ambassador to major suppliers, end-users, and strategic partners, reinforcing loyalty and brand trust.
- Expand Erikson Pro’s footprint across North America, tapping into both traditional and adjacent market verticals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team (currently 14+), with plans for future expansion.
- Recruit, retain, and develop diverse talent, with a focus on strong technical capabilities in lighting and sound.
- Drive a high-performance, entrepreneurial, and collaborative culture.
- Plan and execute succession strategies to ensure leadership continuity across all key functions.
- Sustain and deepen long-standing relationships with Erikson Pro’s most critical suppliers.
- Proactively protect against competitive disintermediation and direct-to-market threats.
- Act as the senior point of escalation for any supplier, client, or internal operational issue impacting business performance.
- 15+ years’ experience in entertainment lighting, pro AV, or highly related industries.
- Deep technical expertise in entertainment lighting systems, pro-AV integration, and related technology.
- Proven success in managing supplier relationships and negotiating complex agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strong-minded, high-achieving sales and technical teams.
- Experience building strategy and infrastructure for scaling businesses.
- Track record of navigating organizational change, succession transitions, and volatile market conditions.
- Highly strategic thinker with strong financial acumen.
- Strong technical aptitude; able to engage credibly with technical teams and customers.
- Negotiation and deal-closing expertise at executive levels.
- Adaptable leader who thrives in passionate, fast-paced environments.
- Superior interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bilingual (French and English) preferred
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and proactive.
- Low-ego leadership style with a solutions-driven mindset.
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity with decisiveness.
