Introduction
Based in Montreal, NURA Medical specializes in the development of next generation clinical decision-support technology. NURA is on a mission to increase patient safety and provide healthcare professionals with tools that minimize medication calculation and preparation errors. This is particularly important in pediatric patients as weight-based dosages lead to high error rates.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team. The successful candidate will be working closely with our founders where they will learn and develop on-the-job skills. The VP Operations will report directly to the CEO.
Position Overview
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, scalability, and productivity across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, finance, sales, and regulatory affairs, to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
- Identify and apply for grants that align with NURA’s mission and strategic business direction.
- Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities, including collaborations with healthcare organizations, government entities, and industry partners.
- Establish and foster key collaborations with research institutions, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to enhance product development and market presence.
- Provide support on overseeing the sales pipeline and help drive NURA’s go-to-market strategy.
- Conduct market research to identify healthcare trends, industry developments, and additional strategic business opportunities.
- Support various day-to-day company operations.
Required Skills
- Completion of an undergraduate degree.
- Highly detail-oriented, independent, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with ambiguous situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Quick learner, self-learner able to adapt to the start-up environment needs.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bilingual (EN / FR)
