Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for achieving the prescribed company objectives for safety, efficiency, quality, and inventory accuracy. Emphasis is placed on the management of Team Members, and the implementation of proactive operations action plans specific to receiving, warehousing and shipping product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Schedule: Dayshift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What You Will Do

  • Employee Management and Development
  • Conducting regular formal employee reviews and informal feedback discussions for all staff within their area of responsibility
  • Train and coach on WMS systems and act as Subject Matter Expert
  • Work closely with the staff in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the account(s) they are responsible for
  • Help drive goal, target and performance standards
  • First point of contact for customer concerns and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ensure all KPI’s are achieved for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure employees are trained and aware of all standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Run various reports, including labour planning for the team
  • Create a positive and safe working environment

What You Will Bring

  • 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience
  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience with counterbalance and end-rider power jacks
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills
  • Intermediate level MS Office, including Excel
