Description

Wage: $22.83 per hour with benefits (Union role)

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 5:30 pm - 11:30 pm.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Class 5 driver's license or higher
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English to communicate effectively and report on incidents involving safety and/or service
  • No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Wash Bay Attendant position
  • Opportunity for the successful hire to obtain an air brake course (we will sponsor).

Skills

  • Hands-on and active work approach
  • Attention to detail for cleaning and vehicle checks
  • Ability to perform some lifting (e.g., fare boxes)
  • Reliability and strong work ethic (implied by nature of duties)

Key Accountabilities

Vehicle Cleaning and Fueling

  • Clean the interiors and exteriors of various company vehicles as determined by the Company
  • Check DEF fluid levels as determined by cleaning and fueling procedures
  • Clean interior and exterior bus advertising and back lighting
  • Report any interior lights that are not working and empty fareboxes.
  • Clean wheels, and vehicle parts

Operational Support

  • Replace interior & exterior advertising signs when instructed to do so
  • Assist with "dumping" the cash container into the vault (requires some lifting)
  • Perform miscellaneous general facility cleaning duties
