About The Role

The Website Administrator & SEO Specialist is responsible for ensuring the corporate website functions smoothly and is up to date. Key responsibilities include creating new web pages, editing existing pages, integrating media (files, forms, video, etc.), and configuring site settings. Additionally, they will ensure that the website and other marketing initiatives are in line with SEO best practices. They will work very closely with all members of the Marketing team and IT web developers, guiding them and troubleshooting with them on all manner of issues related to SEO and the corporate website.

What You'll Do Here

Website Management

• Maintain, update, and monitor the corporate website (Drupal) to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Create and implement layout and branding standards, as well as file/URL naming conventions.
• Create and update webpages. Add, edit, and delete content.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Manage and improve the website’s UX (user experience) on both desktop and mobile.
• Perform regular system audits, install updates, manage backups, etc.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the marketing team and IT development team.
• Work with web developers to implement new features and optimize existing features.
  
  

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Optimize website content, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, and alt text, for maximum visibility and ranking among search engines.
• Stay on top of web technology trends and conduct industry site audits. Adjust web strategy as needed to ensure we are first-in-class.
• Lead technical aspects of SEO and collaborate on on-page SEO enhancements: HTML coding, site structure, site speed, backlinks, page layout, and navigation considerations.
• Analyze website performance and SEO via various analytics tools and make actionable recommendations for improvements.
  
  

Metrics and Reporting

• Compile and analyze data for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Marketing Reports, including:
• Website traffic and related metrics
• Website form submissions and webchat interactions
• Heatmaps and recorded sessions
• Identify trends in report data and assist in presenting findings quarterly.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide support for web development tools and technology, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Drupal, PHP, API integrations, Google Tag Manager, etc.
• Assist in learning and configuring marketing software tools to ensure accurate metrics tracking, integration, and optimal system functionality.
• Develop process documentation and training guides/videos for the end users and administrators.
• Troubleshoot system integration issues and provide technical support to team members.
  
  

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Post-secondary or technical education required. University degree in Computer Science preferred.
• +3 years as a website administrator or developer
• +3 years working with Drupal CMS
• +3 years optimizing websites for SEO
• Certification preferred in one of more of the following: Acquia Drupal Certified Site Builder, Acquia Drupal Certified Developer, WOW Certified Professional Web Administrator, certification in UX/UI design, or related technical certifications
• Experience with Drupal CMS (version 10)
• Expert knowledge of SQL Server/MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP
• Website analysis using a variety of analytics tools, including Google analytics, Google Search Console, Google Webmaster, Microsoft Clarity, etc.
• Knowledge of CRMs, integration via APIs,
• Advanced knowledge of SEO methodologies and best practices, including Schema.org markup, meta and rel tag configurations, pagination, URL behavior, and crawl efficiency improvements.
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and their implications for website management.
• Familiarity with Google Marketing Tools (Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager)
• Familiarity with project management principles, methodology, and tools
• English required. French is beneficial
• Self-motivated, solution-focused, and eager to learn
• Expert troubleshooting skills and analytical abilities
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively
