Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties

The course takes up various theories & practices of critique to support students in the evolution of their independent media arts studio practice. Students will engage in an iterative cycle of production, presentation, critical analysis, and refinement within the context of group critiques.
Three hours (combined lecture and lab); one term

Required Qualifications
Professional and educational background in the field, plus experience in classroom teaching. Applicants should have a PhD or be near completion of a PhD in Media Arts or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who hold a completed MFA or doctoral degree or are near the completion of an MFA or doctoral degree, in Media Arts or a related field. Previous teaching experience in media arts is preferred.
