The Global Logistics Specialist
The Global Logistic Specialist is a critical role within the Supply Chain Department at Pacific Smoke International reporting to Global Logistics Manager .
As part of the Supply Chain Department the Global Logistics Specialist is an integral hands-on role responsible for end-to-end transportation, carriers/freight forwarders relationship s , logistics processes and operational performance.

The Global Logistics Specialist
The Global Logistic Specialist is a critical role within the Supply Chain Department at Pacific Smoke International reporting to Global Logistics Manager .
As part of the Supply Chain Department the Global Logistics Specialist is an integral hands-on role responsible for end-to-end transportation, carriers/freight forwarders relationship s , logistics processes and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain transit reporting, tracking, and tracing.
- Check bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents
- Communicate with suppliers in China, freight forwarders in China and Canada, customs brokers, delivery companies etc.
- Book space based on expected cargo arrival date requirement.
- Arrange cargo pick-ups from factories in China and other countries.
- Check shipping documents to ensure special documents like DGM meet carriers’ requirement.
- Ensure all cargo arrival as scheduled.
- Ensure Excise Tax Stamps delivery as requests and part of Chain of Custody group.
- Provide daily cargo status update.
- Provide shipments report to support data analysis.
- Become the key stakeholder in any new product launch projects.
- Partner with other support functions within the Boat Group, including PMO, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Support special projects as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Global Logistics
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities to accomplish objectives and goals anticipating and adjusting for problems and interruptions/roadblocks.
- Proactive problem solving and situational analysis and must be able to manage a large portfolio and be solution orientated.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced supply-chain environment.
- Fluent in Mandarin speaking and writing.
- Experience working with China logistics.
- Accommodate working with China partners in their working hours.
- Business trip to China as necessary
