The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include
- Assist with the development and deployment of Price Total Productive Maintenance Systems, to improve reliability and reduce downtime on critical manufacturing equipment.
- Assist with the implementation and sustainment of other industry 4.0 initiatives, including data collection, machine monitoring, and additive manufacturing.
- Assist with facilitation of FMEA sessions for new equipment purchases Collaborate in cross-functional workshops for focused improvements to the manufacturing systems.
- Advise and teach others about industry 4.0 and connectivity with new and existing machinery Communicate well with individuals from all levels in the company including factory workers, supervisors/managers, peers, and engineers.
- Assist with the integration of advanced data analytics and the application of data-driven decisions.
- Ensure implemented initiatives are sustained and maintained for future success
- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing an asset.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Experience with industrial machines and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Vorne or other data tracking and machine monitoring systems considered an asset.
- Familiarity with reading manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
- Demonstration of computer-based skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft and in-house software.
- Power BI considered an asset
- Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing or HVAC industry considered an asset.
- Design experience considered an asset.
