Join Northern Health as an Advisor, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA), and lead transformative, system-wide efforts to embed inclusive, equitable, and culturally safe practices across healthcare delivery for the communities we serve.
In accordance with the established vision, mission, values and strategic priorities of the organization, the Advisor, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA), plays a strategic leadership role in advancing Northern Health’s commitment to building a health system where inclusive, equitable, and culturally safe care is foundational. This position provides expert guidance to integrate IDEA principles into organizational policies, strategies, and programs, while driving system-level change that enhances accountability, responsiveness, and impact.
Bringing advanced knowledge, strategic insight, and lived or living experience, the Advisor leads initiatives that strengthen Northern Health’s capacity to embed IDEA across clinical operations, workforce development, governance, and service delivery. The role collaborates with leaders and teams to foster inclusive practice, diversify the workforce, remove barriers to accessibility, promote cultural humility, and guide Northern Health’s evolution toward exceptional health services for Northerners, while living its values of empathy, respect, collaboration, and innovation.
Starting salary will be approximately from $90,770 to $113,462 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
