Job Description

We’re looking for Allocation Analysts. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating an optimal product mix at store level through analysis and allocation of goods to maximize profitable sales. You'll develop weekly shipping strategies, track and interpret inventory levels, and visit stores to evaluate product mix. This position offers the opportunity to identify and execute business opportunities, forecast sales trends, and assist with planning store events, all while leveraging your analytical skills to drive success.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for creating an optimal product mix at store level through analysis and allocation of goods to maximize profitable sales
  • Create weekly shipping strategies that will enable allocating products to the right stores at the right time by leveraging business tools to analyze department specific sales trends, inventory optimization, store volumes and demographics
  • Tracks and interprets inventory levels to ensure they are achieving plans by monitoring store sales, inventory and inventory to sales ratio
  • Visits stores and competition to evaluate and critique product mix for brands, fashion, quality, and price, sharing findings and developing recommendations to implement with business partners
  • Identifies, recommends and executes on business opportunities, forecasting 1 to 3 months, by analyzing sales trends, researching market trends that reflect merchandise strategy; measures results and provides recommendations
  • Assists with planning and execution of specific store events to optimize shipping strategies; summarizing results to develop recommendations that will inform success of future events
  • Collaborates and assists Stores and Distribution Centers to review and resolve issues related to product

About You

  • College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Retail or Business Management is preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Good business analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to aid in effective decision-making; Strong problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal abilities to perform effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, where partnering with others and building strong working relationships are critical; Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office applications - Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

Salary Range: $50,955.00-$50,955.00 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
