Purpose
The Trade Finance Processing Analyst will play a crucial role in facilitating, managing trade finance transactions and contributes to the overall success of the Trade Services Centre. Purpose
The Trade Finance Processing Analyst will play a crucial role in facilitating, managing trade finance transactions and contributes to the overall success of the Trade Services Centre. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient processing of trade finance instruments, documentation and related activities. Ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Process a variety of trade finance instruments, including letters of credit, documentary collection and standby letter of credit / guarantees.
- Accurately input data from client’s application and relevant documentation into the trade finance systems.
- Ensure that transactions are executed in a timely and accurate manner, in adherence with established service level agreement.
- Collaborate with the trade finance service team, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate the seamless flow of transactions.
- Develops and maintains an expert level knowledge of trade finance products and services.
- Continuously provide a high level of Customer service while ensuring that operational and documentary requirements are met while mitigating bank risk and customer risk.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AMUATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AMUATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Sound knowledge of Trade Finance Products
- Strong Customer Service Focus.
- Good working knowledge of ICC rules, ISP98, URDG 758, URC525 and UCP 600.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours might occur from time to time.
