Temporary Full Time – 1.0 FTE

Duties to commence: August 26, 2026 until June 29, 2027

Qualifications & Duties

  • Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs.
  • Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Division's goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation.
  • Possess a Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
  • College Certificate in Catholic Education is considered an asset.
  • Experience and/or specialization in Early Childhood Education.
  • Experience working with children who have diverse learning needs and who require specialized accommodations and strategies to support those needs.
  • Experience using specific proactive strategies such as visual supports, sensory supports, positive behavior support strategies and communication strategies.
  • Experience with the implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPP's).
  • Committed to working as a collaborative team with and Educational Assistant.
  • Good interpersonal skills working closely with families.
  • Experience/Interest in using various technology tools to assist learning (e.g. SmartBoards and iPads).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm.
