DHL Express currently has an opening for a Batch Processing Analyst in Brampton, ON. This position is responsible for supporting the batch processing of duty billing for the DTP and DTU programs. The role entails providing operational support, managing exceptions, and ensuring that batch rating activities are completed accurately and within established timelines to minimize revenue leakage and prevent write-offs.
The incumbent reviews duty billing data and performs a range of support functions to ensure duties and taxes are accurately calculated and billed to customers, as well as to affiliated DHL entities.
Operating within a high-volume, fast-paced express logistics environment, this role requires a strong focus on precision, timeliness, and the effective handling of time-sensitive shipments, with a critical emphasis on financial accuracy and process integrity.
Shift Details: 09:00 am - 05:00 pm Monday to Friday

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
- Execute LVS batch processing procedures, including DTP & DTU batches.
- Process daily HVS batch data and assign tasks efficiently to raters.
- Manage the preparation and execution of the weekly DTP & DTU batch processing.
- Prepare and distribute files to raters, ensuring timely completion of DTP batches through effective coordination.
- Data entry of the correct value, COO and HS Codes
- Review and remove DTU account numbers from Mixed DTU batches to ensure data accuracy.
- Oversee data quality and conduct audits, including DTP & DTU validation checks during batch processing.
- Perform audit reviews on all DTP shipments, with a focus on HS classification and tariff accuracy.
- Validate HS codes and tariff classifications prior to system upload to ensure compliance.
- Apply for and manage Import/Export permits and Certificates of Eligibility as required.
- Review clearance documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping records, to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Conduct F-type batch reconciliation and compile supporting data for monthly K-84 reporting.
- Provide detailed waybill-level reconciliation reports to the Finance department.
- Generate and deliver below-threshold reports for Finance.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to support batch processing operations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Responsible for knowing DHL’s billing rules as per DHL’s GSOP.
- Responsible for knowing Incoterms issued by the ICC.
- Data entry of the data from the commercial invoice by using manual and automated methods
- Must be able to process weekly DTP & DT Batches.
- Must be able to process batches with high accuracy, with an error ratio not exceeding 1% in the audit report.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong data management capabilities
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to review and audit batches effectively
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365
- Hiring process includes an Excel assessment to evaluate candidates’ proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
