Job Description: As part of the Big White Bellperson team, you are responsible for guest assistance, performing light maintenance jobs and assisting with guest requests Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Complete season start-up and shutdown checklists
• Develop a good understanding of village layout and be able to give directions to all units in rental pool
• Be able to supply the guest with all information that they need to enjoy their stay
• Ensure all luggage is correctly labelled and stored
• Ensure Bellperson room is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times
• Be able to troubleshoot guest issues
• Assist Front Desk as required
• Understand how everything operates in a guest room
• Assist Housekeeping and Laundry
• Cleaning and maintaining of Big White Central Reservations owned areas of the Hotel
• Fulfill tasks in a time sensitive manner
• Follow a daily checklist
• Assist guests with all questions and requests
• Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
• Any other reasonable requests made by a Central Reservations Manager

• Physically fit
• Good personal grooming
• 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive and upbeat personality
• Possesses time-management skills
• Trade experience is an asset
• Is able to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Specifications:

• Full-time - working up to 40 hours per week
• Start date mid- November
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Wage - $20 per hour
• Staff accommodation may be available for approved applicants
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to help out in all aspects of housekeeping and cleaning of common areas
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects including luggage
