Bilingual Technical Sales Representative - #187485

Agilus is recruiting for a Bilingual Technical Sales Representative in the Pumps & Fluid Industry in Trenton, Brockville and Ottawa, Ontario.

The Technical Sales Representative provides field-based sales support to customers across various markets. This role involves generating and closing sales opportunities to grow Pump product sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. The representative is also responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets in their territory *Territory includes: West Montreal, Monteregie West, Outaouais, and Eastern ON (up to Trenton) regions.*

A Typical Day

• Provide high-quality field technical sales support for pump products and systems
• Manage and service existing clients within the assigned sales territory
• Build and maintain professional relationships with new and existing customers
• Conduct sales calls to discuss new opportunities, cross-sell products, and follow up on orders
• Generate and qualify new sales leads, offering recommendations and discussing product options
• Visit customers to assess needs and recommend customized pump solutions
• Manage CRM system, track proposals, quotations, and customer inquiries
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and management on joint calls and technical support
  
  

The Successful Candidate Brings

• Bilingual (English/French)
• Valid driver’s license
• 2-3 years of related experience
• Ability to travel - Day trips to customer and supplier sites (60-75% of the time). Occasional long-distance and overnight travel to customer and supplier sites, approximately 10% of the time
• Strong sales skills with a focus on continuous improvement
• Technical proficiency with product applications and industrial processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities with strong presentation skills, including PowerPoint expertise
• Industry product knowledge in pumps and fluids an asset
