- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Experience with hardware procurement and inventory management, including workstations, PDUs, Ethernet hubs, cameras, SSDs, and other lab equipment.
- Hands-on experience managing lab devices, including receiving, tracking, and maintaining hardware assets.
- Proficiency in setting up and configuring test environments for hardware and software validation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a lab setting.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and experience following up on network-related issues.
- Experience with lab automation, including:
- Automated workstation provisioning and setup.
- Automated health checks for hosts and test launchers (e.g., Axiom).
- Automated disk space monitoring, alerting, and recovery.
- Automated management of unified test environments, including tools version control.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced lab environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Procure and manage lab hardware, including workstations, PDUs, Ethernet hubs, cameras, SSDs, and related equipment.
- Receive, track, and maintain lab devices; set up and configure test environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in the lab.
- Develop and maintain automation for workstation setup, health checks, disk space monitoring, and unified test environment management (including tools version control).
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
- Decision-making is significant in nature and affects work beyond immediate work group.
- Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
- Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
- Tasks often require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
