We’re looking for a Electronic Print Operator who will be responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of all Electronic Print and peripheral equipment. This individual will be adhering to an extremely time sensitive daily production schedule, while maintaining high quality levels and customer satisfaction.
This role will work on continental shift, rotating between day and night shifts on 12 hour shifts.

We’re looking for a Electronic Print Operator who will be responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of all Electronic Print and peripheral equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Operates T230 and Colour Stream Continuous printers in accordance with the daily production schedule
- Loads roll stock and/or requests stock to be loaded by material handlers into/onto printers as per the run docket/work instructions
- Performs basic equipment maintenance such as cleaning, minor repairs etc.
- Demonstrates troubleshooting and problem solving skills with regards to system/equipment problems and/or application problems
- Reports escalation of problems and occurrences to Team Lead or Production Supervisor
- Performs all required tasks and activities in accordance with facility’s Quality Control Procedures (QCP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Performs all required tasks and activities in accordance with established safe work practices.
- Ensures all paperwork (QC Balance Sheets, Sequencing Camera Reports, etc.) is filled out accurately and completely.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Post-secondary certificate/diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge, MS Excel, MS Word
- Basic knowledge of commercial imaging technology is preferred
- Working knowledge of specific electronic print/imaging equipment may be required
- Must be familiar with applicable Facility Quality Control Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Safe work practices, Housekeeping, and WHIMS Regulations
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills (French would be an asset)
- Basic mathematical skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required in a 24 hour, 7 days per week operating environment
