This role will be responsible for guiding a team of individuals with subject matter expertise in estimating, operations, purchasing, and Information technology, in developing, maintaining, and continually improving our operational systems and the structure and analysis of our data.
Our goal is to transform Modern Niagara construction into an organization that leverages its data as a competitive advantage and operates using data-driven decision making to reduce risks and enable growth, efficiency, and innovation.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, extensive knowledge of construction technologies, and proven leadership experience in change management and digital innovation. High organizational skills and ability to work with senior leadership to define excellence and manage change is imperative for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the roadmap for construction technology initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, and IT teams to identify opportunities for innovation and automation.
- Lead the organization in standardizing and organizing our analytics of meta data across projects and regions with a specific focus on measuring what matters to enable smart business decisions and identify trends.
- Technology Operations Management
- Oversee the integration and transfer of data between construction estimating and operating systems including project management software, BIM tools, IoT devices, field performance metrics and field data collection systems.
- Drive consistency and standardization in the use of digital tools across projects in alignment with our established national strategy and processes
- Change Management and Training
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across field and office teams.
- Lead change management efforts to support successful tech adoption, including developing training programs and support structures for users.
- Process Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies in construction workflows and implement tech-based solutions to enhance productivity, safety, and quality.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure technology is delivering measurable value.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Build and lead a high-performing Construction Technology Operations team, including project tech specialists, analysts, and support roles.
- Mentor and develop team members to grow internal capabilities and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships, in conjunction with our Information Technology Teams, with technology vendors, integrators, and consultants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry with a proven track record of utilizing technology and fact based data to improve decision making capabilities.
- Deep understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and field operations.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Procore, Autodesk, BIM 360, PlanGrid, Revit, drones, AR/VR, IoT sensors, or similar.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive digital transformation and manage cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience in enterprise-level construction projects or large-scale infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Lean Construction principles, Agile methodologies, and/or data analytics in a construction context.
- Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Focused on continual improvement and optimization with an ability to challenge status quo and collaborate with others on how to improve efficiencies and reduce risk
