What will you do?

 

 

As the Digital Energy Canada Field Devices Product Application Expert, you are a trusted technical expert who creates and applies innovative solutions from our extensive Field Device catalog. Ultimately the success of the role will strengthen technical, application & sales competence of Schneider Electric Canada’s Digital Energy team, resulting in greater Field Devices sales & market saturation.

 

Supporting the Canadian Digital Energy team, you will be providing pre-sales application/technical support to grow the Field Devices business by assisting with product selection (valve schedules etc.), training, prescription and more.   

 

 

Sales Enablement

  • Contribute to sales pursuits by creating and promoting the business value of our Field Devices along with building credibility with customers to inspire, inform, transform and support business objectives.
  • Provide hands-on technical trainings, presentations and product demonstrations to system integrators, end users and consulting engineering firms.

 

Successful Project Execution

  • Select valves, actuators and sensors aligned to the commercial and/or account strategy.
  • Provide the technical validation, risk management, and technical governance for all phase of the project lifecycle.

 

 

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar Technical Engineering field
  • Min. 3-5 years’ experience as Application Engineer / Technical Sales Leader focusing on HVAC Sensors, Valves & Actuators
  • Desire to work with various customers and project stakeholders (ex: building automation technicians, project managers, consulting engineers, procurement and purchasing, operations and maintenance staff, etc.) and a desire to understand their roles
  • Ability to drive an initiative & influence stakeholders and strong collaboration skills
  • Ability and desire to travel up to 20% within Canada
  • For Quebec-based candidates functional French is require

 

Desired skills

  • Understanding of HVAC fundamentals
  • Ability to select valves, actuators and sensors based on project plans and specifications
  • Estimation experience
  • French fluency
