As our innovative business grows rapidly, we are seeking a full-time Production Worker . Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker may be responsible for preparing, assembling, or packing our products at our Richmond location. If you can work in a colder, fast-paced environment and work under pressure with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you!

Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $20.75/hour (paid on weekly basis!)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Constantly maintain a clean and safe worksite before, during, and after production activities

  • R acking frozen meat on racks for defrosting

  • Picking meat products from cooler to cut

  • Weighing up meat products and labelling

  • Safely load, unload, and transfer products to and from equipment or conveyors

  • Product quality checks: specification, packaging, produce, seal integrity

  • Dispose of garbage including boxes and bags

  • Report any quality defects during production

  • Follow and complete the production schedule

  • Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to HACCP and CFIA hygiene rules / sanitary work practices

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in refrigeration

  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures

  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner

  • Basic computer skills

  • Effective verbal and listening communications skills

  • Commitment to quality and safety

  • Ability to lift to 65lbs

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
