Job Description

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Guidewire Business Analyst to provide business analysis services for a timeboxed (10 business weeks) T&M effort to assess the current Guidewire BillingCenter implementation, with a focus on identifying the root causes of operational challenges, evaluating the effectiveness of existing business processes, and recommending opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and alignment with Guidewire best practices.

Deliverables

This engagement is expected to produce the following deliverables:

  • Weekly Status Reports
  • A current-state assessment of the BillingCenter delinquency process and related billing operations.
  • Current and future state process maps
  • A summary of key findings, root causes, risks, and operational pain points.
  • Prioritized recommendations for process improvements, configuration changes, and opportunities to better leverage standard Guidewire functionality.
  • A implementation roadmap of short-, medium-, and long-term initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the BillingCenter solution.
  • New billing method assessment scoping report

Requirements

The proposed resources should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in gathering business requirements and resolving production issues and elaborating enhancements.
  • Candidate must have business analysis experience with Guidewire Billing centre specifically. Do not submit candidates who do not have experience with Guidewire.
  • Expert level experience with Guidewire billing centre platform.
  • Knowledge and experience in Guidewire InsurCloud for Canada would be an asset.
  • Experience in the Canadian insurance property and casualty industry would be an asset.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), or other industry-recognized designation/certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of techniques in eliciting requirements, including business, technical, nonfunctional, security, and testing requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of various software development lifecycles and project delivery processes (e.g., agile, waterfall).
  • Advanced skill in documenting epics, features, and user stories.
