    Salary and Benefits: $29.95 to $35.04 depending on experience
    The successful candidate will:
    • Have an Office Administration Certificate/Diploma
    • Have 2 to 3 years of related experience.
    • Demonstrate strong planning, organizing, and time-management skills across multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
    • Possess strong problem-solving skills and a self-motivated attitude.
    • Demonstrate proficiency with Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel) and general computer applications.
    • Have experience with HRIS, databases, and office equipment (considered an asset).
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
    • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Be willing to engage in ongoing learning to meet job requirements.
    • Have accurate typing skills.

    Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
    • Creating and posting approved job advertisements.
    • Receiving, acknowledging, and filing resumes; maintaining the resume portal.
    • Coordinating interviews, participating in interview processes, and conducting reference checks as required.
    • Preparing letters of offer and onboarding packages.
    • Collecting and processing criminal record checks, including vulnerable sector searches.
    • Maintaining recruitment and onboarding software (e.g., Frontline), including updating templates, managing users, and providing training.
    • Compiling and maintaining monthly timesheets and approved leave requests for central office, sub office, facilities, and 12-month school staff.
    • Assisting employees with entitlement inquiries and coordinating payroll adjustments.
    • Preparing entitlement reports and completing quarterly entitlement audits.
    • Processing temporary teaching permits and maintaining substitute teacher and casual employee lists.
    • Preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports, forms, and presentations.
    • Liaising with Labour Relations regarding monthly work permits for maintenance staff.
    • Providing clerical support and assisting with travel arrangements for the Human Resource Manager.
    • Providing backup support for the Human Resource Officer and receptionist.
    • Performing other duties as assigned.
