As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing Swish’s company brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. The work you do is directly linked to successful outcomes resulting from customer retention and word-of-mouth sales. What does an Inside Sales Representative do?

  • Engage customers and prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls, sometimes following an outlined script to advertise our products, in a way that is professional and honest.
  • Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
  • Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each customer you speak with.
  • Research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product’s function and purpose, so you can confidently identify opportunities to recommend products that add value for our customers.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference.
  • Listen attentively to customer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful.
  • Showcase the company’s strengths and highlight our brand by talking about the characteristics that make our organization unique.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and goals for the upcoming week.

What do you need?

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer facing role, in either a sales or service environment, either in retail or a call center environment.
  • Market experience in Saskatchewan, Atlantic Canada, and/or Southwest Ontario would be an asset.
  • The ability to communicate professionally and persuasively in a manner that engages customers and delivers value.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and pay strong attention to detail when processing orders.
  • Strong computer and technical skills are required. Experience with MS Office is an asset.
  • Experience with a CRM and other sales technologies is considered an asset
  • Attention to detail to accurately process invoices
