Position Highlights
At ICBC, we’re modernizing how information, analytics, and technology support better decisions for British Columbians. If you’re energized by data engineering, analytics, cloud technologies, and helping teams turn complex ideas into practical solutions, this role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful change in a collaborative, forward-looking environment.
We’re looking for an IS Solutions Leader to join our Data Management team and help guide the evolution of our data cloud and analytics architecture. In this role, you’ll bring technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong partnership skills to define solution direction, support enterprise priorities, and influence how information management capabilities continue to grow.
Your responsibilities in this role:
Lead or contribute to early architecture envisioning for larger initiatives, helping shape solution direction from the start.
Provide strategic technology leadership across data governance, reporting, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.
Ensure Information Management solution architecture remains effective, sustainable, cost-conscious, and responsive to changing business needs.
Partner with IS application teams and business stakeholders to assess needs, explore options, and recommend practical business intelligence and analytics solutions.
Develop and document architecture decisions that support consistency, clarity, and long-term maintainability.
Support technology simplification by helping identify, plan, and complete decommissioning activities.
Recommend technology approaches that help the organization deliver reliable, scalable, and business-aligned solutions.
You’re a curious, collaborative leader who enjoys staying current with emerging trends, translating technical concepts for different audiences, and helping teams make informed decisions. Your knowledge of Information Management best practices—and your ability to connect technology choices to business outcomes—will be key to your success in this role.
Position Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who bring:
A strong understanding of the principles and concepts that support business intelligence and analytics.
