As the Information Technology (IT) Service Delivery and Relationship Manager you will be responsible to own and manage key enablement relationships with key stakeholders. You will align the function’s services to business needs and transformation initiatives, with a focus on service management and the adoption of new technologies to support the future of work.
How You Will Create Impact
- Envisioning opportunities across assigned portfolios and leveraging in-depth knowledge of business needs and function capabilities to identify and articulate solutions.
- Promoting capabilities, advocating on behalf of business stakeholders, and staying on top of technology trends and the evolving business.
- Managing an assigned portfolio of business relationships and leading planning activities with stakeholders to ensure projects are effectively resources, funded, and completed.
- Collaborating with leaders to develop and implement best practices for documentation, engagement, and communication.
- Driving service management activities through impact analyses, facilitation of advocacy and coaching conversations, and the development of mitigation plans.
- You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.
- You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
- You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
- You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
- You have 10 years of progressive experience in IT and project management, including five years experience in a consulting or advisory role.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technology, or a related discipline. Having a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is an asset.
- Having the Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or the Six Sigma certification(s) is an asset.
- You have expert knowledge of service management and root cause analysis, and a strong understanding of the underlying technical underpinnings of networks.
- You will travel occasionally.
- Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
