Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations, bank journal entries, credit cards transactions and bank deposits.
• Process prepaid amortization and recording of fixed assets.
• Prepare documents, process and reconcile internal and external accounts.
• Record payroll for corporate office and sites.
• Prepare cost reports or statements for current projects.
• Manage accounting related documentation for any of the operations divisions.
• Provides support for accounts payable processing.
  
  

What You Bring

• One-year experience in a Junior Accountant role.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Accounting preferred.
• General knowledge of accounting and financial theories, practices, tax, legislation and resources.
• Knowledge of accounting software, experience with Great Plains is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), data-based software, email and web browsers.
• Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
• Effective communication skills and an ability to define and solve problems.
• Skilled at data collection and analytics.
• Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple priorities and demands.
