Your Role

You will be joining our growing team as a Junior Full Stack Engineer, reporting to a Technical Lead. You are someone who’s early in your software development journey but seeking to make a real impact. You’ll be working alongside a team of experienced software engineers who are passionate about mentorship, technical excellence, and building world-class software that solves real-world problems in aviation. As part of a fast-growing team, your contributions will matter. You’ll take part in architecture discussions, explore modern technologies and AI capabilities, and be exposed to best-in-class engineering practices.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using modern frameworks such as React and Node.js.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver new features from concept to deployment.
  • Build and maintain APIs and backend services.
  • Participate in code reviews and pair programming to grow your skills.
  • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and usability.
  • Contribute ideas to product discussions, your voice matters!


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years of software development experience through personal projects or work experience using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of current state of AI, AI tooling and capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of core software engineering practices (TDD, clean code, design patterns).
  • Comfortable working across both frontend and backend code, even if you’re stronger in one.
  • Open to continuous learning and feedback; able to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
  • Supportive to your team members, take ownership of tasks, and contribute positively to the team environment.

Job location

This role is based in our Vancouver office which is located in downtown Vancouver. With our hybrid working policy, we prioritize a balance between working from home and being present in the office (typically 3 days per week). The salary will be based on the value you will bring to the role with a range spanning from $58K to $75K CAD per year. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
