We are seeking a Pension Administration Education Specialist to provide pension administration education and training services within the Member and Employer Services department.
This role focuses on educating users about the pension plan, business processes, and administrative systems by applying adult learning principles, designing effective learning programs, and managing stakeholder relationships.

About The Role
We are seeking a Pension Administration Education Specialist to provide pension administration education and training services within the Member and Employer Services department.
This role focuses on educating users about the pension plan, business processes, and administrative systems by applying adult learning principles, designing effective learning programs, and managing stakeholder relationships.
As The Newest Member Of Our Team, You’ll
- Design, develop, and deliver on-going training, education materials and programs to continuously advance the knowledge of team members and support the strategy of the growing and developing pension administration experts from within CAAT.
- Identify gaps and training needs within the Member and Employer Services department, developing tailored programs and strategies to address knowledge gaps.
- Support the development and delivery of standardized programs and training to onboard new team members, ensuring a consistent approach.
- Deliver programs and training to support new roles, business processes, and the rollout of new products/services.
- Actively engage internal stakeholders in enhancing the training programs and identifying key areas for training opportunities; collaborating with them on progress and support needed.
- Build, maintain and audit an inventory of training and internal knowledge resources.
- Post-secondary education or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in applying adult learning principles in pension or financial services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
- Experience working with various e-learning tools including Articulate Rise, Storyline, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating virtual and in-person training sessions
- Strong understanding of strategies/business needs to independently research and develop knowledge resources to support educational programs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional judgement and a strong team player with the ability to collaborate cross functionally
- Accredited in adult education/training and PPAC or CEBS certification are considered assets.
