Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in Surrey, BC at our Head Office.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $100,000 to $117,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Westland also offers a competitive annual short-term incentive program that enables employees to share in the rewards of the business and emphasizes the measures that are key to our success.

You will lead strategic initiatives from inception through execution, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to deliver measurable value. Why We’ll Love You

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like PMP, Agile, or Change Management are assets)
  • Bring 7+ years’ experience leading enterprise-scale, cross-functional projects, including SaaS implementations
  • Experienced working in matrix environments and navigating complex stakeholder groups
  • Communicate clearly with executive, technical, and operational audiences
  • Strong at building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a sharp attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-directed, and committed to high-quality delivery
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or with business transformation projects is an asset

Once Here, You'll

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact projects across business units such as operations, marketing, product, HR, finance, and technology
  • Create and manage project plans across all key disciplines—scope, schedule, budget, risk, and communications
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure aligned execution and successful outcomes
  • Anticipate and manage interdependencies, capacity challenges, and risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to operational handoff
  • Communicate progress and status updates tailored to various stakeholder groups, including senior leadership
  • Drive strategic thinking and contribute to future-state planning during project execution
  • Champion continuous improvement through post-project reviews and process enhancements
