Schedule: Compressed Work Week (9-hour dayshifts, every other Friday off)

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Red Seal Millwright will primarily be responsible for a range of troubleshooting and repairs to preventative maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate will work within a team of other trades people to execute work across the plant through various planned outages.

Your Responsibilities

ü Preventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments);

ü Complete documentation of inspections and Precision Installation;

ü Follow company policies for safety and maintenance;

ü Operate hoisting / lifting equipment complete documentation;

ü Troubleshoot machinery problems that are impacting production and take action;

ü Maintain a clean and orderly work place.

Your Skills And Abilities

ü Safety focused;

ü Work well in team and possess a friendly and positive demeanor;

ü Self-directed and works with minimal supervision;

ü Ability to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a variety of assignments with conflicting priorities and deadlines;

ü Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

ü Strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent judgment and willingness to learn;

ü Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands;

ü Detail oriented.

Your Qualifications

ü Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright Certification;

ü 3-5 years of experience working in an industrial work environment;

ü Experience using computers, hand-held monitors, and SAP;

ü Level 1 Vibration Analysis training would be considered an asset;

ü Previous experience in condition monitoring would be an asset;

Qualifications

ü Possessing dual ticket qualifications is considered an asset.
